檸檬
遅ればせながら、明けましておめでとうございます。
今年は、どんな抱負を持とうかなあ とのんびり思っているうちに、
お正月は終わってしまいました。
不思議に、ことさら新しいことを思わない、新年なのです。
自分にとっての時間の進み方が、
年々 というより 日々 になっているなあ と改めて思いました。
いろんなことが、続き って感じ。
だもんで、[丁寧な続投] が、抱負 ということになりました。
別に 抱負 としなくてもいいか という感じだね。
庭の檸檬が、今年初めて、たくさんの実をつけました。
剪定の時期が見定まらず、結局剪定しなかったのが良かったのか、
植えてから７．８年で実をつける という、その時期が来たのか、
原因ははっきりしないのですが、とても誇らしいのです。
このあたりは、檸檬がなるには最北端と言われ、育っている庭は少ない。
あちこちにある夏みかんとは、格が違うのです。
実をつけた木も、誇らしそうだし、見ている私も誇らしい、エヘンエヘン状態です。
新年早々、自慢で始まりましたが、一緒に見てやってくださいませ。
何の手入れもしない実は、かなり肉厚で食べにくいのですが、香りは超一級の檸檬です。
